Link Together and High School District 214 is pleased to offer an exciting lecture and discussion program, WHAT EVERY PARENT NEEDS TO KNOW. These sessions will help parents navigate and respond appropriately to their children’s growth and development, anticipate and prevent problems proactively, develop mutually respectful relationships, explore fair discipline, maintain effective communication and use productive problem-solving methods with their children. Bob Leece, Student Assistance Coordinator at Buffalo Grove High School has trained thousands of parents over the past 30 years. Parents have always responded to these sessions with extremely positive comments.
Here are a few of their comments:
- “A life changing experience for my family.”
- “I’ve taken this class twice and it has made a difference in my home.”
- “Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!”
- “This program is based on the spirit of helpfulness.”
- “This program has helped our family in six sessions more than therapy did in six months.”
- “I learned practical tools that help me out. Now I am connecting instead of disconnecting with my son.”
- “This class should be mandatory for all parents.”
